Allow your vegan butter to warm on the countertop for about 1/2 hour before making or pop it into the microwave for 10-15 seconds to t warm up, but not melt.
To a medium-sized bowl add 1/2 cup of vegan butter, 4 cloves minced garlic, 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley, and 1 tablespoon fresh chopped chives (or green onion.)
Stir until well combined, and they use as you would butter on savory foods.
Notes
To give your dairy-free garlic butter a little cheesy flavor, add 2 teaspoons of nutritional yeast or vegan parmesan along with the garlic and herbs.
If using garlic butter in cooking or baking, be careful not to overheat the butter since the smoke point is lower than oil and the garlic and herbs can also burn.
