I love using this gyro spice mix to sprinkle on tofu, seitan, falafel, jack fruit, or mushrooms to make a vegan gyro packed with flavor.

- Glass Jar with a tight seal to store the spice blend.
🥄 How to make a gyro spice blend
A full printable version of this recipe with ingredient measurements is available at the bottom of this post.
Step 1 – Add all of the spices to a bowl and stir well, or simply add them to a jar and give it a shake.
Step 2 – Use 1 teaspoon of spice blend for each cup of meat or meat substitute.
Step 3 – Store any unused spice mix in a cool dry place in a sealed container for up to 6 months.

- For a low sodium Gyro seasoning mix, reduce the salt by 1/2 or omit the salt completely.
- Double or triple the batch if you make Gryos frequently enough to use up the spices in the next 6 months.

Store your Gyro spice mix in a glass jar or mason jar with a tight lid in the pantry for up to 6 months.

Gyro Seasonings
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

This spice mix was spot on! I sprinkled it on some tofu and make a gyro style wrap! So good!
