  • Vegan Butter – Use a high-quality vegan butter or my homemade vegan butter.
  • Garlic – fresh minced garlic tastes best.
  • Parsley – fresh parsley tastes best.
  • Chives – or green onions

How to make vegan garlic butter

Step 1 – Allow your vegan butter to warm on the countertop for about 1/2 hour before making or pop it into the microwave for 10-15 seconds to warm up, but not melt.

Step 2 – To a medium-sized bowl add 1/2 cup of vegan butter, 4 cloves minced garlic, 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley, and 1 tablespoon fresh chopped chives (or green onion.)

Step 3 – Stir until well combined, and use it as you would butter on savory foods.

How to use plant-based garlic butter

Use this garlic butter to make vegan garlic bread or vegan garlic knots, or use it as an alternative to plain butter on any savory dish, such as mashed potatoes, vegan garlic noodles, or pierogies.
